Campus Swipe Drive

W&M Dining and Swipe Out Hunger have proudly partnered to fight student food insecurity on campus. W&M Dining has established a Meal Swipe Bank to provide students experiencing food insecurity with emergency meals. Though we are no longer running Swipe Drives, we still have swipes available to students.

Students may request support by contacting the Dean of Students Office or Campus Minister Max Blalock with the Wesley Foundation, who will conduct a confidential consultation assessing the students’ immediate and long-term needs.

Once approved, students will receive 10 meal swipes that can be used at W&M Dining facilities simply by swiping their Tribe Card.

FAQs:

Why are you no longer running swipe drives? We currently have an abundance of meal swipes in the meal swipe bank. Therefore, we have decided that our efforts are better used distributing these swipes.

How can I apply for additional meal swipes? The Dean of Students Office: https://www.wm.edu/offices/sustainability/initiatives/foodinsecurity/swipe-out-hunger/index.php
