Hello Food For All,

I hope you’re excited about Spring Break next week! We have a couple announcements to round out your pre-Spring Break week.

Food Pantry Staples Dinner: Want to enjoy a free dinner made with ingredients you can find in the Food Exchange or a food pantry? For our general body meeting on Tuesday, March 4th, we’ll be meeting at the Wesley House at 7:00pm to eat a variety of delicious dishes together! If you plan to attend, please RSVP here.

Toiletries Drive: We are partnering with the Office of Sustainability to run a toiletries drive from now until March 6th! Keep an eye out for donation boxes in Sadler, ISC, Swem, and the Business School.

Spring Break Staycation: Wesley and Food For All are teaming up to provide food, service opportunities, and fun activities to folks staying over Spring Break! If you are interested, fill out this form so that we can get a vague estimate of numbers. You can come to as much or as little as you would like. Additionally, reply to this email or send a GroupMe DM to an exec member if you want to get involved in coordinating/running the event!

Staff Assembly Food Drive: We are partnering with Staff Assembly again this semester to do a massive, campus-wide food drive! More information will be released after break, but you can register for volunteer opportunities at the end of the drive here.

College Socialists Tenant Organizing Presentation: The College Socialists reached out asking us to promote their Tenant Organizing Presentation tonight at 6pm in Blow 332. If that would be helpful to you, consider stopping by to learn your rights as a tenant and how to organize your building.

Have questions or suggestions? Feel free to reply to this email! We hope to see you at dinner tomorrow; otherwise, we hope you have a great break, and we’ll see you when you get back!

Food Drive Volunteer Opportunity

Hey Food For All,

Although we are not meeting as a general body this week, we do have more information about the upcoming food drive that will be run by the Staff Assembly and will benefit FFA food pantries! There will be a food drive kickoff event on Monday, 10/28 from 1:30-2:30 in the lobby of Swem Library. We would love to have as many of our members as possible at this event to show our gratitude towards Staff Assembly for holding this drive! They are requesting that members who attend bring a can of food to donate if possible. There will also be a volunteer opportunity at the end of the food drive on Monday, 11/18 from 3:00-4:00. We are especially looking for students who have cars to help pickup donations from various locations across campus. If you don’t have a car, we also have plenty of opportunities for you to help out with organizing and stocking donations! We hope to have anyone volunteering for the 18th attend the kickoff event as well, but if you would like to attend only one or the other that is not a problem. Please email Annamarie at agwarnke@wm.edu if you would like to volunteer! We hope to see you all there!
