Happy almost Thanksgiving! As we finish up with FFA events for the semester, we want to announce that elections will be held tomorrow, 11/21 at 6pm in Chancelors 134. We hope to see you there! We will be voting on our current empty positions of president, treasurer and publicity chair. We are especially looking for students interested in publicity chair, as this would be a lower commitment position that is open to any members, regardless of experience. We will also be continuing our member to exec pathway next semester. If you would like to learn more about what it is like to be on exec without having the full commitment of a position, please fill out this form. This will prepare students to run for any position in future elections.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the recent food drive to benefit FFA. We collected donations on Monday and are excited to announce that we received 1,465 pounds of food to contribute to the pantry! Thank you to Staff Assembly for their organization of this drive and to everyone who volunteered or donated.
FFA will be holding our end of semester food drives at the Student Exchange and Tribe Market. If you have leftover dining dollars that you would like to use up, please consider donating at either of these locations from 12/2 to 12/18.
Due to the limited dining options on campus during Thanksgiving break, campus dining is providing a pre-order option for students who will be staying on campus. If you or anyone you know may have trouble accessing meals during this time, please fill out this form by Friday, 11/22.
